Mesa Verde Colorado
These photos were taken on our 2007 trip to Mesa Verde Colorado. These cliff dwellings were created around 1100-1200 by native Americans.
We stayed in the lodge right at Mesa Verde. There are two types of rooms here. The "original" rooms are apparently small and motel-like. Typical government park fare. The new ones are really nice! They have balconies, lovely beds, the shower was strong and hot. They do NOT have TVs or internet. This is about relaxing in the wilderness :) I really liked the decor.
