Poire William / Pear Champagne Recipe

Poire William was once a famous pear liqueur, based on the Bartlett pear. The French name for this pear is Williams Bon-Chretien. You can use any pear brandy or juice as a substitute.
1/2 shot pear brandy
1/2 pear, chopped up
Champagne
Shake pear brandy and pear in a shaker with ice, and strain into a Champagne flute. Add Champagne to fill. Enjoy!
